An energetic and entertaining group of septua-, octo- and nona-genarians take the plunge into singing rock, punk, disco and more, and in the process become a living testament to the healing and community-building potential of music.

Young@heart documents the rigorous six-week rehearsal period of these geriatric rockers, leading up to a sold-out concert in their home town of Northampton, Massachusetts. The chorus breaks the stereotypes of ageing, performing songs by David Bowie, James Brown, the Rolling Stones, Sonic Youth and The Clash. You’ll be moved and surprised with their interpretations of ‘I wanna be sedated’, ‘Golden years’, ‘I feel good’ and ‘Stayin’ alive’.
