The Perth International Arts Festival relies on attracting the very best staff and artists from around the world
each year.

We employ more than 100 staff and contract even more individual artists and companies annually. Our staff members may be permanent or may be employed on a part-time, casual or contract basis. We regularly
support work experience, secondment and volunteer work opportunities. Our artists and artistic companies
may be contracted for a single event, a season, a programme, or they may even be commissioned to produce new work for presentation at the Festival.

Current Vacancies

Accountant

The Perth International Arts Festival is seeking an Accountant to provide financial support in a dynamic and creative work environment. Located at the University of Western Australia in Crawley, the accountant will report to the Financial Controller and be responsible for the following duties:

  • Preparing and managing staff payroll including salary sacrifice
  • Preparing timely and accurate end of month GL reconciliations
  • Preparing statutory and tax reporting requirements
  • Administering debtors invoices and managing accounts receivable
  • Managing cash receipting and banking
  • Participation in continual improvement initiatives.

To be successful in this role you will have substantial experience in a similar role, highly developed organisational skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Experience in the use of MYOB would be an advantage.

Salary range: HEE Level 6 $59,424 - $62,897 (plus superannuation)
