The Octagon Theatre is an intimate thrust stage venue seating 658 to 758 patrons.The theatre was designed with advice from Sir Tyrone Guthrie, the founding director of Stratford Shakespeare Festival, Canada, and was based on the design of the Stratford Festival Theatre. The Octagon can be used for music, dance, drama, comedy and public lectures.

Located at the University of WA Campus on Stirling Highway, and is serviced by buses on both Stirling Highway and Mounts Bay Road.
