Visual Arts :: Daniel von Sturmer

In a special opportunity to see a new commission by one of Australia’s most exciting multimedia contemporary artists, Daniel von Sturmer produces a major visual public work at the 235 St Georges Terrace building.

Renowned for his inventive interventions with space, architecture and visual phenomena, von Sturmer was one of three artists to represent Australia in the Venice Biennale of 2007.

Through sophisticated digital technologies and yet sometimes exploiting simple materials and propositions, von Sturmer has unequivocal capacity to challenge our perceptions of space and the pictorial. This is his first public work in the City of Perth.
